Bible Society’s garden inspired by Psalm 27 (‘The LORD is my light and my salvation …’) attracted thousands of visitors at the RHS Tatton Flower Show. 

After days of cold and rain, the sun came out on the first day of the Show, lighting up the Bible Society staff posing for press photographers and shining on spectators clustered at the garden several rows deep. They were offered leaflets with the text of the psalm, and many wrote responses for a prayer tree in our space next to the garden. 

The silver medal-winning garden is designed to reflect the psalm’s themes of protection, comfort and hope.
